Check out Potent Jo's latest trap music video These Niggas. This is what Potent Jo had to say when we asked:

Was there a particular message you were trying to convey in this video? Why?

"The message behind this is to chase your dreams as much as you can. At age 17, young, and unemployed, me and my friends decided to get a random camera that can record a video for the music I made. As you can see in the video, I am starting from the very bottom, but I'm trying to reach the top by being creative with our personal tools. You just gotta keep working towards your goal, it will pay off at the end."

More Details Potent Jo was influenced by Eminem, Jay-Z, 50 cent, Soulja Boy, and other major artists. At a very young age, he began to record himself rapping on tape recorders, karaoke machines, and other electronics he could find to record on. He began producing instrumentals at age 11, but then decided to start getting serious about rapping at age 13. After going through tough times with the law, at age 15 he was then put on home confinement and was left with nothing but school work, a laptop, and a microphone in his bedroom. He then started recording his first songs such as "These Niggas", which gave his publicity and social media a boost and eventually helped get his music around different public schools, and other areas.
