Was there a particular message you were trying to convey in this video? Why?

"I wanted the video to be as authentic as possible to perfectly correlate with the mood and title of the song. It isn't gimmicky or glamorous or pretentious. I needed it, for me, to appear to be reachable to the audience because the song is about oneness, both love and on a human level. I want the audience to feel that we are on equal footing, so the way it was shot and the story is very natural and real. My mission as an artist is to articulate the importance of preserving our humanity and I feel there is no better way than being transparent."
